Rondarius Jordan

Rondarius Jordan describes himself as strategic and hard-working. These qualities and his dedication to learning about information technology systems made Rondarius a standout student in the first cohort of BDI’s Bridge Academy.

The Bridge Academy provides adults with disabilities living in Atlanta with 20 weeks of technical training. Students are prepared to earn the globally recognized Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity credential, a preferred certification for many entry-level IT jobs. They are also taught job readiness skills and connected to resources to help them be successful on the job.

Rondarius embraced everything Bridge Academy had to offer, learning the ins and outs of network systems and sharpening his social skills. He was eager to learn and worked diligently to master every concept. He worked extra hours and collaborated with his peers to solve complex problems.

As a result, Rondarius passed the Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) exam on his first attempt. Now, BDI is helping him search for jobs. He hopes to secure a position in systems maintenance, IT management, or tech support. Wherever he ends up, one thing is certain: Rondarius will continue to exemplify BDI’s vision of a world where people with differing abilities thrive with the right support and opportunities.
