Sam Delaney is the Chief Financial Officer at Bobby Dodd Institute. In this role, he is responsible for the organization’s accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, insurance and treasury activities. Bobby Dodd Institute is a non-profit focusing on solutions and collaboration to provide more employment opportunities for those with disabilities.
Sam held a similar role at WABE for three years. WABE is a non-commercial educational FM radio station licensed to Atlanta, Georgia, and serving the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Sam has over 35 years of financial experience. 21 years with General Electric in various senior financial roles both domestic and international, five years as CFO of Petfirst, a pet insurance company, with Columbia Residential, an affordable housing company based in Atlanta, GA and six years with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.
Sam graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In addition, Sam most recently served on the board of the Kentucky Derby Museum.
In his spare time, Sam enjoys competitive tennis, international travel and attending major sporting events.
