2026 Luminary of the Year: AJ, Andrew, and Kyle

AJ Johnson, Andrew Stevens, and Kyle East started their careers in IT as students at BDI Bridge Academy. Exemplary students, all three consistently demonstrated dedication while excelling in the competitive and highly technical program. The classes prepared them for careers in the technology field, something each of them had always wanted.

Today, the three work together at Cisco as learning engineers, a brand-new role created specifically for them. They have been with the tech giant for more than a year, building learning plans and instructional guides that help organizations educate and train their employees. They truly brought this new division to life, creating processes, structures, and workflows from the ground up.

They are now preparing to conquer a new peak — leveling up with advanced certifications. These three young men also share an important message with employers: there is a tremendous amount of untapped potential. When someone has a disability, they often develop strengths that are even greater because of it, learning to adapt and compensate in powerful ways.
