Project SEARCH offers a life-changing, nine-month job training program for individuals with disabilities. We’ve partnered with local businesses to provide hands-on training, skill-building, and real-world job opportunities.
The program helps interns gain the confidence they need to secure long-term employment, earn an income, and contribute to a financially stable community.
Project SEARCH is part of the Bobby Dodd Institute newest initiative, Elevate.

Who Can Apply?
Project SEARCH is open to motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Ages 18-30
- Desire for competitive employment
- Eligible for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services
- Ability to work independently
- Support from family or caregivers in achieving employment success
- Commitment to developing a transportation plan
- Willingness to work at least 16 hours per week after graduation

Based on deep research, the program is designed to empower young adults with disabilities by providing real-world job experience in a structured, supportive environment. Through skill-building, confidence development, and employer partnerships, we help interns achieve sustainable employment and independence.
