Luminary of the Year, Darden’s Delights

Family-owned pie shop, Darden’s Delights, was built on the premise of enhancing opportunities for people with disabilities. This is achieved through what the company calls “Dardenomics.” First there’s the pies, then there’s passion and finally there’s purpose. The family gives back “a slice” of their revenue to other organizations that create employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
