GCDD 2023 Summer Advocacy Trainings – Day Session

The Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) will host two summer virtual advocacy trainings this month. People with disabilities, family members, providers, and disability advocates are invited to join us and our partners at UNLOCK 2.0 on Monday, August 21 at 12:00 noon, or Tuesday, August 22 at 6:30 PM to learn more about increasing rates paid for services.

Now is the time to make a significant investment in Georgia’s disability community and we need you to help make it happen! GCDD and partners at Unlock 2.0 will push our state leaders hard to support the rate study that will increase rates paid for services under the NOW and COMP waivers and end the waiting list. Join us for this dynamic training on how to connect with your local legislators in your community and convince them that the time is now to support Georgians with disabilities.
