Getting Ready for Opportunities in Work (G.R.O.W.) is a five-week program that includes individual one-week sessions. G.R.O.W. is an introduction to employment initiative for students living with a disability aged 14-22. It takes a hands-on approach through collaboration with local community partners and employers to expand students’ understanding of the workforce. The program features one-on-one job training, workshops on self-advocacy, tours of local workplaces, and more. Breakfast and lunch are provided. For more information about G.R.O.W., please get in touch with your local Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) office or email Monique Bell at monique.bell@bobbydodd.org.
